Ingredients
Put the cod on a plate or cutting board after taking it out of the package. Use paper towels to soak up any extra water.
1
Avoid freezing the filets to cook the fish evenly.Stir the marinade ingredients in a measuring cup or bowl until completely combined.
2
Add the cod filets to a zip lock bag or another container that can be sealed, and then add the marinate.
3
Wrap up the food in the bag (or container) and move it around until it's all covered in the marinate.
4
Keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes to 10 hours. Prepare the air fryer for 5 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit before cooking the fish.
5
Put marinated cod filets in the air fryer basket. Fish should reach 145 degrees F after 8–12 minutes.
6
The cooking time will depend on how thick the filets are. For a golden-brown crisp, you might need to cook the filets longer, until they're as crispy as you like them.
