Delicious Brookie Recipe

Brookies (Brownie Cookies) are rich and chocolatey. A brownie batter-topped chocolate chip cookie? Yes, please! Two classics are combined to make a rich and delectable treat in this recipe.

– ½ cup butter  – ½ cup brown sugar  – ¼ cup granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 1 large egg – 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour – ½ teaspoon salt – ½ teaspoon baking soda – 1 cup semisweet chocolate chip – ½ cup butter  – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract – 2 large egg – ⅓ cup cocoa powder – ½ cup all-purpose flour – ½ teaspoon baking powder – ¼ teaspoon salt

Set oven temperature to 350°F. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it.

In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugars, and vanilla. Using a mixer, beat on medium speed until creamy.

For two minutes, beat in the egg until it becomes light and creamy. Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.

Stir the flour mixture into the wet mixture. Mix in chocolate chips. Cover the bottom of the baking dish with cookie dough.

In a bowl, add the butter, sugar, and vanilla; stir to incorporate. Add the eggs and well beat.

After thoroughly mixing in the cocoa powder, mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.

The brownie batter should be poured and evenly spread over the cookie layer in the baking dish to cover it totally.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan, then cut and serve bars.
