Healthy Oatmeal Applesauce Muffins Recipe

This healthy muffin recipe uses oats instead of flour and maple syrup for sweetness. Moist, fluffy, dairy-free, and refined sugar-free muffins are the perfect light snack.

– ▢2 cups quick oats – ▢2 tsp baking powder – ▢1 tsp sea salt – ▢2 tsp ground cinnamon – ▢2 large egg – ▢1 cup unsweetened applesauce – ▢1/3 cup pure maple syrup – ▢4 Tbsp avocado oil – ▢2 tsp pure vanilla extract


Heat the oven to 350°F. Put 9 paper liners in a muffin tray. If muffin liners are unavailable, spray the holes with cooking spray.

Baking muffins with a digital thermometer. Baked at 190°F+. Add a thermometer to the center of a muffin and wait until the numbers stop moving for an accurate reading.

Cool applesauce oat muffins to room temperature before removing liners. Peeling heated muffins loses some muffin to the paper.
