INSTRUCTIONS
Mix the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and salt in a big bowl with a whisk.
Step 1
Mix the milk and olive oil with a spatula. After lightly flouring your work area, turn out the dough and knead it for 1 minute until it becomes a smooth ball.
Step 2
Rest the dough for 15 minutes under a moist towel. Preheat the oven to 400°F before baking. Parchment a baking sheet.
Step 3
First, lightly flour your work surface, then cut the dough into 6 equal pieces. Form balls and flatten them into 4-inch disks.
Step 4
Put the buns on the lined baking sheet at least 2 inches apart. Brush egg white wash on bun tops and sprinkle sesame seeds (optional).
Step 5
Bake the buns 18–22 minutes until golden brown and no longer doughy. Slice and serve the buns after cooling from the oven.
