Hershey's Kiss-topped red velvet cookies are chewy and scrumptious! A Christmas dessert everyone will love!
– 14 tablespoon butter
– 1½ cup brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
– 1 egg
– 1 egg yolk
– 1 tablespoon red liquid food coloring
– ½ teaspoon salt
– 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– ½ teaspoon baking soda
– ½ cup cocoa powder
– ½ cup granulated sugar
– 12 ounce Hershey’s kisse
Ingredient
1
Preheat oven to 350℉. Parchment two baking sheets. Add butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to the mixer bowl and beat until smooth.
2
Egg, egg yolk, and food coloring should be added and mixed until the batter is entirely colored.
3
Salt, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder should all be mixed together in a bowl containing the ingredients.
4
Begin by adding half of the dry ingredients to the mixer at a time, mixing them thoroughly before adding the other half.
5
Put the sugar crystals in a plate that is not too deep. After rolling the cookie dough into 1-inch balls, coat them with sugar.
6
Roll the dough again and place the cookies on the baking sheets. About 4 dozen cookies should come from the dough.
7
Bake for 11–13 minutes in preheated oven. Do not overbake cookies—they will dry out.
8
After removing the cookies from the oven, kiss the middle of each. Place biscuits on a wire rack to cool fully.
