With this simple recipe for Apple Cinnamon Roll Bake topped with icing, you can make a store-bought treat even better!
INGREDIENTS
– 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter, melted– 1 (12.4-oz.) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing– 1 cup small diced Granny Smith apples (peeled or unpeeled)– 3 large egg– 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat the oven to 375°F. Pour melted butter into a 9-inch round cake pan.
Step 1
Divide the cinnamon roll dough can into 8 rolls and cut each roll into 8 pieces. Save the icing. Alternately stack chopped cinnamon rolls and apples in the baking dish.
Step 2
Mix eggs, heavy whipping cream, cinnamon, and vanilla extract in a medium basin. Pour custard over apples and cinnamon rolls.
Step 3
Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and custard is done. Remove the baking dish from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Finish with the reserved frosting, slice, and serve.
